ABOARD USS AUSTIN (LPD 4) - The USS Austin Visit Board Search And Seizure (VBSS) team heads out to render assistance to a disabled Saudi Arabian fishing dhow. The VBSS team is composed of members of Austin's crew specially trained for a variety of missions including rendering assistance to vessels in distress. USS Austin is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet Area of Operations in support of Maritime Security Operations (MSO). U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 1st Class Brian McFadden. (Released)
