Holocaust survivor Martin Becker, 87, speaks to New York Army National Guard Sgt. Christopher Burch assigned to the 42nd Combat Aviation Brigade, following a discussion about his experiences growing up in Germany and escaping Nazi rule during 1939, April 30. The presentation is in observance of Holocaust Remembrance week, April 27-May 4, 2014. The talk focused on a book written by Bruce Chadderton of Auckland, New Zealand, titled "Descent into the Abyss: The Shoah" published in 2012 by the Education Fund, Society of Israel Philatelist, which was dedicated to Becker's sister, brother-in-law and niece, all murdered during the Holocaust.
