A Sons of Iraq member marks his thumbprint next to his name as officials from 1st Brigade, 1st National Police Division, verify his identity before paying his salary in the Karadah District of eastern Baghdad on Nov. 12. This was the first time the government of Iraq paid SoI salaries in Karadah since the SoI integrated into Iraqi security force and other GoI jobs last month.
