Soldiers conduct 'Fat Cow' operations for continued sustainment of Multi-National Division - Baghdad forces

Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 4th Aviation Regiment, Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, refuel two Apache attack helicopters with an Extended Range Fuel System II integrated Chinook helicopter during a training exercise at Camp Taji, Nov. 10. The ERFS integrated Chinook, or "Fat Cow," is a 2,400 gallon mobile fuel system that enables both forward-deployed air and ground assets to conveniently receive fuel directly from the helicopter. The system can virtually be set-up anywhere the cargo helicopter can land.
