Lance Cpl. Dylan R. McDonald operates a TRAM forklift vehicle to load equipment onto the USNS Sacagawea April 10 at the Gwangyang Port, Republic of Korea, during exercise Freedom Banner 2014. The Technical Assistance and Advisory Team assigned to Blount Island Command assisted loading operations by providing knowledge which expedited inspections. In total, the TAAT advised more than 10,000 Marines and sailors participating in the exercise. Freedom Banner 14 is a maritime prepositioning force ship offloading exercise that demonstrates offshore readiness of personnel and equipment to respond to a disaster relief or contingency scenario while strengthening ties between the ROK and U.S. forces.
