Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Coalition partners and civilians take off during the start of the Pat’s Run Challenge sponsored by the Fort Bragg, N.C.-based 82nd Sustainment Brigade-U.S. Central Command Materiel Recovery Element April 26 at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. The run was held to honor the memory of Cpl. Pat Tillman who sacrificed his life in service to his country during Operation Enduring Freedom. Participants in the run were allowed to wear t-shirts bearing Tillman’s the jersey number he wore as an Arizona State University Sun Devil.
