Romanian Army 1st Lt. Lucian Vasiloschi runs toward the finish line in first place with a time of 21 minutes 50 seconds during the Pat’s Run Challenge, a 4.2 mile run sponsored by the Fort Bragg, N.C.-based 82nd Sustainment Brigade-U.S. Central Command Materiel Recovery Element April 26 at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. The run was held to honor the memory of Cpl. Pat Tillman who sacrificed his life in service to his country during Operation Enduring Freedom. Participants in the run were allowed to wear t-shirts bearing Tillman’s jersey number he wore as an Arizona State University Sun Devil.
