    A Marine AV-8B Harrier prepares for takeoff on Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, March 28, 2014. The Harrier is from VMA-223 out of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C. The Marines are on Osan to participate in Exercise Pacific Thunder, a joint, combined combat search and rescue exercise that will run April 14 – 18. The exercise will include A-10s and F-16s from the 51st Fighter Wing, F-16s from the 8th Fighter Wing, AV-8Bs from U.S. Marine Corps' VMA-223, HH-60 Pave Hawks from the 18th Wing and numerous other ROKAF aircraft and accompanying personnel.
