A Sons of Iraq security guard searches vehicles at an Iraqi security forces checkpoint operated by national police of the 1st Battalion, 5th Brigade, 2nd NP Division, Oct. 28, 2008, to prevent further acts of violence against the Iraqi people in Risalah. The SoI in southern Baghdad continue to assist ISF in ongoing security efforts to bring peace and stability to the Iraqi people. Soldiers of Company C, 4th Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, attached to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, continue to patrol the streets of the Risalah community 24 hours-per-day, conducting combined operations with the ISF to search for criminals and terrorists in the Rashid District.
