The Department of Defense honored Army contractor, Mr. Dave Jensen, a U.S. Army Asymmetric Warfare Group Operational Advisor who served with the unit until 2013, with the Secretary of Defense Medal for Valor at the Pentagon Hall of Heroes April 14, 2014. Jensen was embedded with Company C, 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan providing advisory support when he risked his life to save the lives of four Soldiers after a rocket attack hit their aircraft on Bagram Air Field Sept. 10, 2012.
