Marines with the 8th Engineer Support Battalion, based out of Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., demonstrate their capabilities as a logistical unit at their combat logistical support area, Syphon 8, April 4. The 8th ESB Marines provided life support for the ground units at Syphon 8 during the two month duration of MCAS Yuma’s Weapons and Tactics Instructor course; transporting and handling everything from the water, food, fuel, gear, heavy equipment and other basic life sustaining entities Syphon 8 and its personnel in training required.
