Sergeants Maj. Robert A. Allen Jr., left, and William H. Oldenburg, right, report to Col. Timothy M. Salmon, Marine Corps Air Station New River commanding officer, during a relief and appointment and retirement ceremony held aboard MCAS New River, April 11. Allen relinquished his post as the air station sergeant major to Oldenburg. During the ceremony, noncommissioned officers held key billets during the ceremony and marched with the noncommissioned officer sword. Sgt. Maj. Allen’s son, Sgt. Robert A.
