Polish secondary school students with a Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps program participate in a community engagement during Poland Aviation Detachment 14-2 in Wrzesnia, Poland, April 4, 2014. During the event, Polish and U.S. Air Force pilots briefed the students about flying and the importance of a strong partnership between the two countries. In October 2012, the U.S. Air Force established the first permanent U.S. military presence in Poland. Together with a rotational deployment of U.S. military aircraft, the Air Force supported Poland's continued defense modernization and standardization with the U.S. and NATO.
