A US Army soldier takes a wide-angle selfie at the front of a large military formation marching along a road at sunrise or sunset. The soldier is wearing Army Combat Uniform (ACU) with an Airborne tab and US flag patch visible on the left shoulder. A long column of similarly uniformed personnel stretches behind him, suggesting a ruck march or organized military event.

Staff Sgt. Joseph Dilley, a member of the Missouri National Guard, 35th Engineer Brigade, team Mo Muleskinners takes a selfie as he treks the 26.2 mile route through the New Mexico Dessert. "Our march was a small tribute to those Soldiers who had to endure the Bataan Death March in 1942,” said Dilley. “It gives me a sense of what they suffered through. To honor them for their sacrifices was a very unique first time experience."
