Staff Sgt. Sarah Merklinger, 380th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron military working dog handler, takes a break from training with Bojar. Bojar was anesthetized and X-rayed by an unidentified local veterinarian. Bojar, a military working dog, injured his teeth and gums while traveling to this deployed location. Merklinger is from Waco, Neb. She is deployed here with Bojar from Kadena Air Base, Japan.
