Active duty and Air Force Air National Guard Aeromedical Evacuation members train on a C-130 during a national disaster exercise, Ultimate Caduceus 2014 March 31, 2014. During Ultimate Caduceus, part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's National Capstone Exercise, AE members provided medical support, processed and transferred patients. By interacting and working closely with our federal, state and joint partners, Airmen in Utlimate Caduceus 14 are able to develop refinements to processes and procedures that can potentially enhance the effectiveness of real-world relief operations. The aeromedical teams were comprised of more than 18 AE crew members from Pope Army Airfield, N.C., Scott AFB, Ill., and Cheyenne ANG base, Wyo. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Staff Sgt. Stephenie Wade)
