    1st Brigade, 11th Airborne Division

    A soldier with B Company, 3rd Battalion, 21st Infanrty Regiment, successfully completes the downhill slalom course with pack and gear at the end of an emergency response exercise at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Soldiers from 3/21IN were alerted to participate in the state-wide Alaska Shield exercise and given the mission of providing humanitarian aid supplies to an isolated population center.
