Lt. Col. Jeffrey A. Sinclair, commander of the 1st Battalion, 18th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, talks to some of his troops during a ceremony in which members were awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge on Aug. 29 in Tikrit, Iraq. Sinclair a native of Morgantown, W. Va. said during his speech that the physical description of the award in the army regulations falls incredibly short on describing merit of the award.
