A 2nd Battalion, 38th Cavalry Regiment soldier drags a 160-pound litter during the Pre-Ranger school assessment March 24-28. Day two consisted of a Ranger physical assessment test, including a 3-mile run, 8-foot wall climb, 20-foot caving ladder and rope climbs and a 160-pound litter drag. The soldier is competing for a slot to attend the U.S. Army’s Ranger School, one of the toughest schools in the military. (Photo provided by 1st Lt. Steve Guevara, 2nd Bn., 38th Cav. Regt.)
