Yeoman 2nd Class Cheryl Santos takes the Navy wide advancement exam on the mess decks of the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6). Bonhomme Richard is the flag ship of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is currently conducting joint force operations in the U.S. 7th Fleet Area of Responsibility.
