San Francisco, Calif. native Maj. Loren B. Jerlow, brigade aviation officer, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division runs with the rising of the sun on Fort Hood's Battalion Ave., Sept. 19, 2008. Jerlow is training for the Rock n Roll San Antonio Marathon, Nov. 16, 2008. Jerlow, through Active.com, is looking for donations of as little as one dollar a mile to help support wounded Soldiers and their families who need to stay at Fort Hood's Fisher House, while recovering from injuries sustained in Iraq or Afghanistan.
