Staff Sgt. Andrew Hester performs an inspection on a proximity sensor (DSU-33) during a six-month Assembled Munitions Serviceability Inspection on a Joint Direct Attack Munition. AMSIs are conducted to ensure all munitions components are serviceable and within the service life dates. The JDAMs are built and loaded on B-1B Lancers that support Operation Enduring Freedom.
