    KARACHI, Pakistan: A Pakistani heavy equipment operator moves a container of construction supplies donated by Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 off a pier in Karachi, Pakistan Oct. 27, 2005.
    The equipment will be used to assist earthquake victims in the northern part of the country. The amphibious transport dock USS Cleveland (LPD-7) offloaded 280 tons of supplies to support the multinational relief effort, including 37 pieces of heavy machinery, food from France,
    and tents, cots and blankets from Egypt.
    The United States is participating in a multi-national assistance and support effort led by the Pakistani government to bring aid to the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck the region on Oct. 8th, 2005.
