    KARACHI, Pakistan: Marine Gunnery Sgt. Bryan Brown, combat cargo assistant aboard USS Cleveland (LPD-7), assists Sailors with the offloading of a seven-ton truck onto the pier Oct. 27. The truck was provided by Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, which is forward deployed to Bahrain, and will be used to assist earthquake victims in the northern part of the country. The USS Cleveland offloaded 280 tons of supplies to support the multinational relief effort, including 37 pieces of heavy machinery, food from France, and tents, cots and blankets from Egypt. The United States is participating in a multi-national assistance and
    support effort led by the Pakistani government to bring aid to the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck the region on Oct. 8.
