Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus while visiting Camp Natasha and Camp Leatherneck took time out to meet with many of the sailors and Marines at both camps located in Afghanistan. Mabus talked about his deep appreciation to the service members for their efforts in all that they do on a daily bases while on deployment. NMCB 5 is currently deployed to Afghanistan in support of NATO International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and is one of the Naval Expeditionary Combat Commands warfighting support elements providing host nation construction support and security.
