Contracted mariners onboard High Speed Vessel Swift (HSV 2) lower a rigid hull inflatable boat into the waters of Guyana to survey the depths of the waters of the port. Swift is the first ship with U.S. military embarked to pull into Guyana. The ship is currently deployed in support of Southern Partnership Station (SPS) 2010 a deployment of various specialty platforms to the U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) area of responsibility (AOR) in the Caribbean and Central America.
