U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Ronald Lewis, commander of Train Advise and Assist Command-Northeast gives encouraging words before awarding Sgt. John Konwinski of Rhodes, Mich., an achievement certificate at Forward Operating Base Torkham, Jan. 23, 2014. Konwinski serves as a fire team leader with 1st Platoon, Company C, 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment and his recognized for his hard work in Regional Command East, North of Kabul.
