Army Sgt. Oscar Vazquez, a cavalry scout with the 1st Squadron, 40th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division, looks over a valley during a combat patrol in May of 2012 near Combat Outpost Wilderness in the Paktya province, Afghanistan.
