Pat McCrory operates the Apache Longbow Crew Trainer, a containerized training system used to help North Carolina Aviators develop cockpit skills, during his visit to the North Carolina National Guard, Army Aviation Support Facility #1 in Morrisville, N.C., Jan.10. McCrory as NCNG’s commander-in-chief wanted to learn more about the capabilities and needs of his 12,000 Soldiers and Airmen as an operational force.
