Soldiers with Company B, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Battalion, 22nd Inf. Regt. retire the 'Colors' during a transfer of authority ceremony, Sept. 4, 2008, at Patrol Base Pickett in the northern Rashaad Valley of the province of Kirkuk. PB Pickett was turned over to the 4th Company, 15th Battalion, 4th Iraq Army Division. The PB will retain its name Pickett in honor of Staff Sgt. Tyler Pickett, a 'Triple Deuce' Soldier who was killed during a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device attack at the PB, June 8, 2008.
