Sgt. Carlos Torres, area defense sergeant of the guard, Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, observes perimeter security from the base of a guard tower on Camp Taji, Sept. 4, 2008. As sergeant of the guard Torres is responsible for ensuring all of the CAB's assigned guards have the necessary equipment to perform the duties necessary for protecting the brigade's Soldiers and aviation assets from enemy attacks.
