Pfc. Matthew Flores, from Fort Worth, Texas, an infantrymen assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad, operates the Base Defense Operations Center day and night vision camera systems atop the Raid Tower via a remote control unit at Forward Operating Base Falcon, located in the Rashid district of southern Baghdad. The Soldiers of the Raider Brigade BDOC maintain 24-hour operations to ensure that the FOB defenses remain strong in the face of any enemy threat.
