    An "Above the Rest" Soldier from the 1st Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, patrols in the pre-dawn hours during an air assault mission near Bayji, Iraq. Along with Iraqi army soldiers, 1st Battalion troopers conducted "Operation Bessemer" to clear the pastoral areas of the region.
