A U.S. Army soldier in full combat gear and ACU (Army Combat Uniform) is interacting with a civilian man inside what appears to be a pharmacy or medicine shop. The shop contains numerous shelves stocked with pharmaceutical products, medications, and health items. A decorative Arabic calligraphy plaque is visible on the wall above the shelving.

Sgt. Michael Benoit, a cavalry scout from Monticello, Minn., assigned to Troop C, 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division -- Baghdad, takes photos of a local Iraqi shop, Aug. 16, 2008, as part of the microgrant application process. Soldiers of "Comanche" Troop are enrolling local Iraqi business owners from the Abu T'shir community in southern Baghdad's Rashid District for the purpose of small business donations designed to stimulate the local Iraqi economy.
