    Staff Sgt. Jason Kennedy, section leader from Watervliet, Mich., assigned to White Platoon, Troop C, 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, conducts a patrol brief, Aug. 15, 2008, with Iraqi police at an Abu T'shir IP Patrol Base on Market Street. The Soldiers of "Comanche" Troop, part of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, conducts combined patrols with Iraqi security forces every mission, every day to help validate their presence in the southeastern Baghdad community that is home to approximately 75,000 Iraqis.
