Late Aug. 4, 2008, Marines and civilian contractors expediently unload an M-88 Tank Retriever. Tank operators conducting counter insurgency operations will not have to call back to base for support if they have the M-88 with them on missions. Marines with Security Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 6, 1st Marine Logistics Group, ensured the tank platoon and M-88 made their way safely from al-Asad to al-Qaim.
