Sgt. Shateeka Douglas, a health care non-commissioned officer from Baldwin, La., assigned to Company C, 4th Support Battalion, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, demonstrates how to open a casualty's airway to a group of newly arrived security personnel, Aug. 8, 2008, at the Cobra Tactical Medical Center located on Forward Operating Base Falcon, in southern Baghdad. Douglas, and two other medical NCOs responsible for maintaining the 24-hour service provided at the Cobra TMC on FOB Falcon, taught basic life-saving skills to more than 200 new base defense security force personnel, Aug. 8-10, 2008, to ensure the new first line of defense for the coalition base were trained and prepared to react quickly to on-scene patient care.
