    Sophie, a Maltese poodle mix, rests after running a mile with her owners at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune's Onslow Beach, during the fourth annual Sandy Paws Doggie Dash, Dec. 7. Participants of the race took photos with Santa Claus and enjoyed food and refreshments after the competition.
