Col. James F. Reckard III, commander, and Command Sgt. Maj. Federico E. Boyce, senior enlisted adviser, 4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, 1st Infantry Division raise their unit guidon, or flag, at their newly-completed headquarters building to conclude the dedication ceremony, Dec. 4, 2013. Moving into this Silver Leadership in Energy and Environmental design-certified, 40,000 square foot structure, which was designed for the brigade, allows Reckard and Boyce to bring all of the headquarters and command personnel into a single space from the seven buildings across the installation they currently occupy.
