An F/18-A++ takes off from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam during Exercise Forager Fury II Dec. 9. The series of exercises which MAG-12 is conducting in the Mariana Islands focus on refining core skills within the squadrons and Marine Aircraft Group. This, in turn prepares them to function as an integrated air unit able to perform a wide range of missions. The F/18 is with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 112, “The Cowboys”, Marine Aircraft Group 41 currently assigned to MAG-12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program. VMFA-112 is a reserve squadron from Fort Worth, Texas.
