U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Remedios Cruz, Marine Aircraft Group 12, recites the Oath of Enlistment after being meritoriously promoted at Anderson AFB, Guam, 4 Dec. 2013. Remedios was pinned on to the rank of Lance Cpl. by Brig. Gen. Steven R. Rudder, Commanding General 1st Marine Aircraft Wing.The Marines are on Guam and Tinian for Exercise Forager Fury II. During this training, MAW aviation units are able to practice, train for, and execute the six functions of Marine aviation: assault support, anti-aircraft warfare, offensive air support, electronic warfare, control of aircraft and missiles, and aerial reconnaissance.
