Cookeville, Tenn. native Staff Sgt. Jon Cupp, a public affairs non-commissioned officer for 1st Cavalry Division received the Telly award for video and broadcast excellence, July 22, for his work as part of 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division public affairs office. Cupp, along with the officer in charge of public affairs, won the award for a live video broadcast that linked Soldiers from Camp Taji, Iraq with motorcycle enthusiast from Sturgis, S.D.
