A manager from the local Iraqi construction company, Rownaq al Mas, inspects the hole in the northbound lane of the Grand Canal Bridge in Taji, northwest of Baghdad, July 22, 2008. The hole was caused by a vehicle-born improvised explosive device in May 2007. The workers are on schedule to have the repairs completed by the end of this year.
