Construction workers from a local construction company, Rownaq al Mas, weld steel that is going to be used to fix the hole in the northbound lane of the Grand Canal Bridge in Taji, northwest of Baghdad, July 22, 2008. The hole was caused by a vehicle-born improvised explosive device in May of 2007. The workers are on schedule to have the repairs completed by the end of this year.
