U.S. Marines with Regimental Combat Team 1 interview a member of the Fallujah City Council in Al Fallujah, Iraq on Feb. 21. U.S. Marines with RCT-1 are conducting missions to gain information on different districts within Al Fallujah, Iraq. RCT-1 is deployed with Multi National Force-West in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Al Anbar province of Iraq to develop Iraqi security forces, facilitate the development of official rule of law through democratic reforms and continue the development of a market-based economy centered on Iraqi reconstruction.
