Staff Sgt. Eric Briggs, an instructor at the Medical Simulation Training Center, instructs soldiers assigned to the 252nd Engineer Company, 103rd Engineer Battalion, 213th Regional Support Group, Pennsylvania Army National Guard, on how to properly secure the head of a casualty in a litter during a Combat Lifesaving Course, Nov. 6, 2013. Briggs instructed the soldiers on the various types of wounds and how to treat each wound during the classroom portion of the course prior to the soldiers performing the tasks in a simulated combat environment.
