Scott McKean, deputy commanding general of operations at Fort Bliss and 1st Armored Division, stand steadfast while a brigadier general flag is unfurled Oct. 29, 2013, at the 1st AD headquarters on East Fort Bliss. The flag unveiling was part of a promotion ceremony in honor of McKean, who was promoted from colonel to brigadier general.
