    Defense Imagery Management Operations Center     

    U.S. Army Director of Civil Military Operations Col. Phillip Carey rides on board a MH53 helicopter from the Marine Heavy Helo Squadron 464, Marine Corps Air Station, Jacksonville, NC for a site survey on a water well drilling operation in Tadjoura, Djibouti on February 19, while deployed to the Combined Joint Task Force- Horn of Africa located at Camp Lemonier, Djibouti. The Marine Heavy Helo Squadron 464 mission is to fly two MH53 helicopters carrying 10,000 pounds of supplies and concrete mix into Tadjoura, Djibouti where U.S. Army soldiers from the 1133rd Engineering Detachment, Well Drillers, North Carolina National Guard, Mooresville, N.C. are drilling a water well for the local Djiboutians.
