The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105), the Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate USS McClusky (FFG 41), and the Canadian navy Protecteur-class auxiliary oiler replenishment ship HMCS Protecteur (AOR 509), transit the Pacific Ocean in formation during a Task Group Exercise. U.S. and Canadian Sailors are participating in the exercise off the coast of Southern California Oct. 7-11, which trains independent deployers and builds strong working relationships between the maritime and aviation forces of the U.S. and Canada.
