A firefighter from the New York City Fire Department carries a banner honoring firefighter Stephen Siller during the Tunnel to Towers run in Manhattan Sept. 29. Tunnel to Towers, a 5-kilometer run, is held annually in honor of Siller, who ran to the World Trade Center through the Battery Tunnel with all his gear on during the attacks on 9/11, ultimately losing his life during his attempt to save others.
